Daylesford was our season getaway for many years. In January 2005 we came up from Essendon for a weekend away. We found ourselves checking out Stockdale & Leggos real estate window & Astley B&B Cottage came out at us. After viewing Astley that afternoon Kevin & I were really excited about the property and literally decided & signed up quite soon after both my brothers came & gave their advice.

In May 2005 after the settlement, we moved and took over this small business venture. Now we are in our 17th year. It started quite slow with a booking here and there.  Several improvements to the Cottage its now progressed with bookings each weekend & some midweek. Kev is a Trade Chef & I work as an Aged/Disability Carer nearby. This was a change of career for me as I spent over 25 years as an Administative Assistant. Initially unsure if we had made the right decision, Daylesford is now home as its a great place to live.  These days we are glad to say we are welcoming many return & new guests every week. We have many visitor books full of complimentary remarks. Up until 2013 we didn’t have a website, but with the wonderful assistance of Andrea from Pribaz Design its assisted the business marketing to which we are very grateful.
